First time here, and the Yelp rating is accurate. I ordered the chicken dumpling soup and meatloaf sandwich, and both were great! I'm not a big meatloaf guy, but it was listed as one of the favorite dishes, so I ordered it, and it was one of the best tasting meatloafs I've ever had! Flavors and textures were on point, and the buttered and grilled panini bread was the perfect vessel. Excellent customer service and great atmosphere make this place a must-stop!
Good service and great corned beef sandwiches. Looking forward to trying some other items on their menu.

Another fabulous fish fry from Rochester Deli! Great service and the food was all fresh and delicious. This time I got take out and brought it to a close friend (who had never had their fish fry). We also got a quart of the chicken dumpling soup. My friend was BLOWN AWAY! So much so that she texted me last night (the Friday after) and told me she's going to get it again this week! Always so happy to make another Rochester Deli fan out of a friend :)
Favorite fish fry in Waukesha. And the chicken dumpling soup is soo yummy. Only giving 4 stars because they forgot the extra 1000 island I ordered for take out.

What a gem of a deli they have here in historic downtown Waukesha! It was Friday evening in autumn and my dining companion and I were on the hunt for some warm and toasty soup for dinner. We were in the Brookfield/Waukesha area and a quick search on Yelp led us to Rochester Deli. They have menus but it's an order at the counter situation. Unlike many delis, however, they do have a full blown dining room for you to enjoy your meal (they'll deliver it to your table). On any given day, they serve chicken dumpling soup as well as one soup of the day. I got the chicken dumpling soup, which was tasty. My dining companion got their soup of the day, which on this particular day was clam chowder. We split one of their turkey cheddar panini which has a beautiful spread of cranberry relish on it, along with the turkey and cheddar and made for the perfect fall accompaniment to our soup. The service was friendly and efficient and the dining room, though simple, felt cozy on a chilly autumn evening. Loved my first experience here! Get to it!
This is one of my favorite bakeries and deli. I've had a lot of the sandwiches and soups, plus some delicious bars and cookies. Very much appreciate this place and their great staff. Absolute best homemade soups.
We made a stop in DT Waukesha and searched on Yelp to find a place for lunch. This restaurant caught our attention with lots of compliments and we decided to try it out. It did not disappoint us. We loved the clean, bright environment and the homey vibes immediately. Felt like that great neighborhood restaurant that has been around for a long time and that everyone knows and loves to go. We were greeted by a very friendly young lady and she told us her favorites. We got the most popular Reuben sandwich w chicken noodle soup and Turkey Cheddar Panini w Coleslaw and spicy sauce. The bread was perfectly toasted and the meat and cheese were flavorful and felt not too heavy or greasy at all. Everything was just simply good and well-balanced. We parked in a public parking lot (lots of free spots during weekend) on Main Street and walked down. Highly recommend this place if you are in Downtown Waukesha!
